Ho Ho Ho! Happy December to one and all!
I'd like to present to you my offering for December.
This Santa a Homestead Gatherings Original 2009 Creation.

Oh how I love this santa!
He measures approximately 18 inches tall.
The pictures are a bit off, it rained all day so indoor pictures had to be taken.
I have a large collection of antique quilts and woven wool coverlets and love to use them for special one of a kind creations.
His body is made from aged and sanded muslin. His gloves and boots are painted. He has stitched nose and eyes were hand drawn with artist pencils. I added shading around his eyes and nose. I sealed his face for preservation. His hair and beard are needle felted sheeps wool.

His clothing is made from a handmade antique quilt of red white and blue calico prints. I then handstitched quilt trim to his coat and hat. I've embellished the front of his coat with 3 vintage buttons and added a rusty jingle bell to the tip of his cap. Santas clothing has been aged.
In one of santas hands he holds a heavily aged bottle brush tree.
He will make a wonderful addition to your holiday decor!
I attached a hanger on his back if you wish to display him on a cupboard door or the wall. Tuck him into a cupboard, on a little childs chair, settle bench. Oh the possibilities are endless!

Oh and of course santa will have a lil' something extra for you, cause we all know santa never arrives empty handed!
This Santa is sold!
I would like to wish you all a Wonderful Holiday Season and New Year to come!
Thank you to everyone who gave my creations a great new home, it is very much appreciated!
